Bathing Ritual for Stress

I would like to be posting to my blog a lot more than I have, however my energy has been tied up into getting my new site, mystikka.com up and running. My site is launched, and readings purchased through mystikka.com are 49 cents cheaper per minute than at my keen site. ;-)

I would like to be able to devote more time to some quality blog content in the near future. I have some personal things to sort out in my life (mainly the move) and will be getting to the writing soon enough.

In the meantime, I will give you a tip on how to relax, heal stress and bless yourself.

Healing Stress, Ritual Bath:

In the bathroom, light some cleansing incense of your choice (sage, pine, frankincense, myrrh, or nag champa), I prefer nag champa. Allow the incense to work on purifying the energetic atmosphere of the room. Draw a bath and add 5-10 drops of lavender essential oil, and a few drops of peppermint essential oil. Also, add 3 cups of Epsom salt and 1-2 cups of sea salt. The sea salt will help purify your energy. The Epsom salts will ease aches and pains, muscular stress and help to detoxify the body.

Brew up some red rooibos tea. Light a white candle in the bathroom (for purity and healing), and soak in the tub, drinking the hot tea, allowing the heat to detox your body. Breathe in the aromatherapy. You can use a bath pillow and lay down in the tub. Be careful not to fall asleep in the tub.

Snuff out the candle after bathing and enjoy a nice long sleep.
