The Benefits of Kimchi

The anti-cancer effect of Kimchi is expected: green-yellow vegetables and red pepper, its main ingredients, have a lot of vitamin C and carotin. Fibroid materials in vegetables prevent constipation and colon cancer. Fibroid materials in Kimchee lower the cholesterol level to prevent circulatory diseases such as high-blood pressure, arteriosclerosis, etc.. Especially, Kimchi ingredients like - red pepper, garlic, ginger, green onion, etc. - facilitate the secretion of digestive enzymes and restrain the activation of poisonous bacteria.

I didn't like this stuff at first, but I used it because it is an excellent source of probiotics (friendly bacteria). I'm now addicted to it and need to have it about once a week. :-)
